The Lindsell Family
Literacy and Maths- from a Parent
Anne has tutored my daughter Sophie from Primary 5 until S1. Anne has been consistently enthusiastic and positive, and has worked very hard to make sure the lessons are enjoyable and engaging for Sophie. She has helped her with both Maths and Literacy and has really improved Sophie’s confidence and ability in both areas, such that she is now performing highly at High school. Anne is a fantastic tutor and I would thoroughly recommend her for both Maths and Literacy tutoring.
Piano – from The Lindsell Family
One of the hardest things during the 2020 lockdown, was to find something interesting and constructive for our eight year old daughter Chloe to do. She had received the gift of a keyboard for Christmas, and we had been experimenting with different software packages so that she could learn at her own pace. We were not too impressed with what was on offer and so we then decided to see if there were any music teachers who might be able to teach Chloe remotely – and my word, did we ever strike gold by finding Anne!
Right from the very first lesson, Chloe was captivated and motivated by Anne’s energy and encouragement, and now some nine months later, she is still enjoying her weekly lesson with Anne more than ever. Anne has helped Chloe, not only to understand the basics, but has promoted in her a genuine sense of pride and achievement as she continues to progress.
Always keen to listen to Chloe and hear about her news, Anne has become a regular presence in our lives, albeit over a Zoom video call. Her patience and approach to her teaching is hugely appreciated by us as parents, and we are so thrilled to see the positive impact that she has had with Chloe.
To any parents looking for a music teacher, believe us, your search is done – we would highly recommend Anne.
Piano- from a Parent
My 7 year old son has been taking lessons with Anne for 6 months now and absolutely loves it. He felt relaxed with Anne straight away and has caught her enthusiasm for the piano. He is never made to feel under pressure but is also challenged to try things that stretch him. Anne manages to strike the perfect balance between fun and learning which means he is always happy to go to his lessons.
Piano – from a Pupil
I like it because I like playing the piano and I enjoy learning lots of new songs. I really want to be a better piano player when I am older. Anne is really good because it doesn’t matter if I make a mistake, we just try again.
